Myself and Conor constructed a draft of what our article could look like. In the end we decided we would base our article around the RadioTimes as we felt the genre of our production would fit in well. The draft of our article is featured below.
However after some feedback we decided that maybe we needed to re-think our idea's when it came down to the article, as most of the feedback was negative (featured below).
The negative feedback included the following; firstly it was made clear to us that the image was not clear enough or bright enough for a main image. We were told that this image needed to dominate the double page spread and entice the reader to read the article, however at the moment it did not.
Myself and Conor were also informed that it did not look professional the way we had made the title a white font on a black background, and after stepping back and looking at it properly we agreed with this, as we felt we may have rushed it slightly.
The final bit of critisism was that the title was not in the right place and did not look right where it was position.
In the end instead of making improvements and adjustments to our original draft we decided to scrap it and start again with the making of our 2nd ancillary task.
We thought it would be beneficial if we made our article a bit simpler, with clearer pictures and a more professional layout.
Therefore we decided on our final article, however the picture of our final article is not uploading, therefore I will try again at a later date to upload the photo of this.
